though, in all honesty... i sometimes wonder if "evil tulpas" are tulpas that deny having a "bad side"

evil tulpas are almost certainly just habituated intrusive thoughts.

Tulpas can have emotional issues and problems like anyone else. Apollo had bad anger problems for a long time, but that didn't make him "evil." It made him human.

"Evil tulpas" are just tsundere, clearly. But I don't think I've ever met a developed tulpa that I'd consider to be evil, just angsty or misguided.

bad traits develop naturally, giving them to a tulpa intentionally is irresponsible and kinda heartless

The dark triad is a subject in psychology that focuses on three personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy.

People develop traits on their own. That counts for tulpas as well.

another problem with that is that you'll want to covet their traits.... so even if they somehow do accept every single thing you personality forced on them, you're likely to try and force them out of that personality, in a sense

The answer would be "yes, but not intentionally". It's certainly possible that a tulpa cuold end up being your vision of an 'ideal person', but there isn't really a way to intentionally create a tulpa in such a way.

One problem is that the tulpa might feel like they have to be the way you want and feel guilty/depressed about deviating

In addition, people's ideas of an 'ideal person' are commonly distorted and lack consideration of scenarios where the mix of traits in the aforementioned 'ideal person' cause problems.
